Hy2Market is a collaborative project involving 38 partners from 10 countries across Europe, who have been brought together to investigate and develop a more mature hydrogen value chain across Europe on all market levels. The ultimate desire is to make Europe a resource-efficient and competitive green hydrogen economy. Hy2Market will step forward by creating interregional and international value chains by connecting regions in order to work on different innovations to boost the production, transport, and use of green hydrogen.
Hy2Market have five key areas of focus to connect regions and sectors across the Hydrogen value chain which includes production, transport, industrial usage, mobility usage and knowledge exchange.

Hyenergy's part in HY2MARKET
HyEnergy’s role in Hy2Market has been to assess the opportunity for liquid hydrogen across the value chain throughout the projects different regions, with a specific focus on deploying LHY in transport areas in the Northern Netherlands.
HyEnergy TransStore, the Dutch sister company to HyEnergy are also involved with Hy2Market, who have been using the project funding to help install an underwater hydrogen pipeline in the Delfzijl chemical cluster. This pipeline will help realise a green hydrogen distribution chain from the Chlor-alkali by-product of hydrogen.
